First Jewish Soviets Elected in Russia

Moscow, Sep. 26 (JTA) –

The first two Jewish Soviets in Soviet Russia were elected in the village Slobodoa Davidovka, in the district of Mozyr, and in the agricultural colony Kormi, in the district of Mogileff.

According to the latest decree of the Soviet Government, localities where National Minorities are in the majority, separate elections are held and their own Soviets are elected.
