New England B’nai Brith to Hold Conference

Old Orchard., Me., Aug. 2 (JTA) –

A conference of representatives of B'nai Brith lodges throughout northern New England will be held at Old Orchard, Maine, on August 6th and 7th.

The conference has been summoned by President Benjamin J. Shoolman, the newly elected President of District Grand Lodge No. 1. Reports of activities of the individual lodges will be presented and steps taken to strengthen the scope and influence of B'nai Brith throughout the section. The conference will begin with a dinner and reception tendered by the President of the District which will be held at the Hotel La Reine.

Isidar Kadis, Field Director of the B'nai Brith Wider Scope, representing National B'nai Brith Headquarters, will deliver a report of the international work of the Order on behalf of Jewry.
