LJ Nathan Straus, veteran millionaire-philanthropist, sailed on the Italian steamer Duilio yesterday for Europe and Palestine.
Foremost of Mr. Straus’s plans is the initiation in Italy, England and France of milk pasteurization plants and the spreading of pasteurization propaganda in every country he visits.
Speaking of his self-imposed mission, the veteran philanthropist said in part:
“My steamer lands in Naples where I intend to start milk pasteurization propaganda. On my return from Palestine I will stay in England and in France to continue the milk pasteurization propaganda which I began in those countries many years ago.
