Child training from the point of view of the Protestant, Catholic and Jew will be discussed respectively by Dr. S. Parkes Cadman, Dr. Cornelius Clifford and Rabbi Stephen S. Wise at the first of a series of monthly luncheons next Saturday at the Hotel Commodore under the auspices of the United Parents’ Associations of Greater New York Schools. Dr. Henry Nobel MacCracken, President of Vassar College, will preside.

Charges that the Left Wing and Communist leaders of the deposed Joint Board of Cloakmakers were calling outlaw strikes in the shops of the Association of Dressmakers and affidavits by employers alleging acts of intimidation, coercion and violence were placed before Supreme Court Justice Edward J. Glennon Thursday, who issued a temporary order restraining the ousted cloak and dress leaders from calling strikes in the shops of the association.

Supreme Court Justice Ford heard argument and reserved decision Thursday on the application of Franklin Ford, studio manager of radio Station WHAP, for an order compelling Commissioner of Jurors Frederick O’Byrne to restore his name to the jury lists.

Ford’s name was removed from the list in December at suggestion of Judge Rosalsky of General Sessions after Ford had broadcast attacks on Catholics and Jews and had been examined before Judge Rosalsky as a possible juror.
