$200,000 Bequest Goes to Phila, Jewish Charities

The Federation of Jewish Charities and the Jewish Hospital Associations are principal legatees of the estate of $200,000 and upwards left by Charles C. Shoyer, who died October 6 in Philadelphia.

Minnie Koshland is named beneficiary of a $50,000 trust fund. She is given authority to dispose of $10,000 of the principal of the trust fund in her will, and the residue of the principal is to go to the endowment fund of the Jewish Hospital Association.

Mr. Shoyer also provided for a gift of $75,000 to the Jewish Hospital Association, “to erect a hospital building for the purpose of taking care of maternity cases; such hospital of building to be known as the Gabriel, Louis, ## E. and Charles C. Shoyer Home, but in the event previous arrangements have been made by the association, then I ## that such bequests shall be used for any purpose whatsoever as sent association may de##.”The Jewish Foster Home receive a gift of $5,000, and Engl## Sarin?, $2,500. Provision was made for gifts of $1,500 each to the American ## Hospital and the Sebration Army. The residue estate was devised to the Federation of Jewish Charities.
