To Instal Rabbi Soloveitchik As Chief Rabbi of Boston

At a recent joint meeting of the Vaad Hoir and the representatives of all the Congregations of Greater Boston, Rabbi Dr. Joseph Soloveitchik was unanimously elected as Chief Rabbi of that city.

An installation ceremony will be held in the Fowler Street Synagogue, Roxbury, Mass, on Sunday, December 11.

Rabbi Dr. Soloveitchik who arrived here recently from abroad is a son of Rabbi Moses Soloveitchik, professor of Talmud at the Yeshiva College, New York City, and is a grandson of the Talmudic authority, Rabbi Chaim Brisker.

A reception was tendered to Rabbi Soloveitchik at the Yeshivah College in New York yesterday.
