Rabbi Glanz, Talmudist, Teacher, Dead in Poland

Rabbi Ozer Ganz, for several decades a teacher at the famous school for aritsans at Lodz, Poland, died in that city a short time ago, it became known here yesterday.

Known as an atuority on the Tamud as well as on the learning of the “enlighienment,” Rabbi Glanz was a contributo to the Hebrew periodicals Hatzefiroh and Hameilitz. Most of his thousands of pupils at the school for artisans are now in this country.

Rabbi glanz is survived by six children, among them Aaron Glanz Leieles, distinguished Yiddish poet and member of te editorial staff of the Day.
