The Paterson lodge of B’nai B’rith has gone on record as approving the introduction into the United States Senate of resolution No. 154, protesting the treatment of Jews in Germany by the Hitler gegime.
Gerrard Berman, secretary of the lodge, has been instructed to send telegrams to Senators Tydings and Pittman that the resolution be adopted. Messages will also be sent to Senators Hamilton F. Kean and W. Warren Barbour, of New Jersey, asking them to vote for the resolution and to do all in their power to insure its passage, and to Representative George N. S#ger converying to him the opinions of the lodge concerning the subject of Germany’s treatment of its Jewish citizens.
