The House of Commons today once more considered the restrictions imposed by the Palestine government against tourists in Palestine, when members of the House questioned Malcolm MacDonald, son of the Prime Minister and Under Secretary for Dominions on the subject.

MacDonald revealed that all tourists except those traveling first class must leave a deposit of $60 at the Palestine frontier. This condition is applied to tourists from all countries, including England and the United States, he said.

He denied, however, that the restrictions interfered with legitimate tourists. They merely prevented tourists entering the country for the purpose of remaining there illegally, he said.
