John Dinkelspiel, local attorney and prominent in Jewish affairs, has been appointed vice-consul of Siam. His brother, Martin, has been consul of Siam for some time.
Another San Franciscan honored with an appointment is Leland J. Lazarus, attorney and son of Judge Sylvain J. Lazarus. He has been named assistant regional labor director of the NRA, the appointment coming from President Roosevelt. He formerly was field advisor to the regional director.
