The World Jewish Congress executive committee issued a communique declaring it was continuing to press for action because the league, by declining to apply “urgency procedure” while Rumania refuses to suspend anti-Jewish measures, was actually leaving hundreds of thousands of Rumanian Jews in the same danger as hitherto.
