Dr. Zlocisti, Veteran German Zionist, Dies in Palestine

Dr. Theodor Zlocisti, 69, German-Jewish veteran of the Zionist movement, died here last night. He will be buried in Tel Aviv where he had resided since his arrival in Palestine in 1921.

Born near Danzig, Dr. Zlocisti practiced medicine in Berlin from 1900 until 1914 when he was sent as head of a medical commission of the Red Cross to Turkey and became the director of the Red Cross hospital in Constantinople. He was a delegate to the first Zionist World Congress which was held in Basle in 1897. He was also the author of several literary works.
