Aliens fifty years or older, who have been in the United States since 1924, may become citizens without learning English under the provisions of a bill voted out today by the House Immigration and Naturalization Committee. Educational requirements would be similarly waived for aliens, regardless of age, with children now serving in the U.S. Armed forces.
