Israel was granted today two loans, totaling $6,800,000, by the United States Administration for International Development. One loan is for $4, 400,000 for enlargement of the Timna Copper Works in the Negev area. The other, for $2,400,000, is for an electric power and desalination plant at Eilat. Each of the loans is for a 20-year period, at interest of two percent.
